Heather Hodgin completed her undergraduate degree at Western Carolina University, achieved her Master’s degree in Audiology at the University of Georgia and her Clinical Doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) at the University of Florida. Dr. Hodgin worked clinically with ear nose and throat physicians, providing audiologic care to infants and children with hearing loss. She is now a clinical specialist with Advanced Bionics, providing cochlear implant programming and support to cochlear implant recipients, audiologists and surgeons in North and South Carolina. In addition to serving on the board at Lionheart, Dr. Hodgin currently serves on the American Academy of Audiology Ethical Practices Committee and is an elder at Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church where she also serves on the personnel and church vision committees.
